A Change in Focus

I am a little distraught, today.

I recently learned that Black Labs are among the first dogs to be euthanized in some Animal Shelters.

I have spent many years in the support of The Cleveland Animal Protective League. In fact, I have been donating one dollar ($1.00) from the sale of Rajah and the Big Blue Ball to them.

I have been actively trying to raise $1500 to sponsor a dog cage. But, I think that it is time for a change...a change to Lab rescue.

I support animal rescue!

Rajah is a rescue dog.

I also have another Lab that I rescued (a Yellow Lab). His name is William's Pal Clifford, a pedigree yellow lab that was thrown away due to hip dysplesia. He is in need of more than $10,000 in surgery. At this point, all I can do is keep him comfortable and happy.

He will be featured in an upcoming book (Rajah Adopts A Brother).

So, I have decided to throw all my support to Lab Rescue and No-Kill shelters.
I will continue in my efforts to support the Cleveland APL, but they will take a back seat to the Northeast Ohio SPCA (www.northeastohiospca.org). Please support their efforts on behalf of our four-legged family members.
